GENERAL INFO:
- Orders are usually shipped out in 3 business days.
- AkaTako is located in Berlin, Germany, with a small satellite shipping office in Colorado, USA. Both of these locations ship worldwide!
- Packages are shipped with the return address "AkaTako.net". If you purchase items as a gift and would like to include a note, please say so in your order comments.
- Items are usually shipped by postal mail (DHL from Germany, USPS from the USA). If you would like other options please email me before you place your order.
- I put serious effort into the packaging to ensure your items arrive safely - even if the post office abuses them.
- AkaTako collects VAT for shipments into all EU member countries from both the Berlin, DE, and the Colorado, US, locations. If you are outside of the EU it is likely that you will be charged import duties and taxes.
- Please inspect your order within one week after arrival. If there is any problem with your ordered items, please notify AkaTako asap!

INSURANCE and TRACKING:
- Please carefully check the description of each shipping option during checkout to see what is included in the rate.
- In general, economy shipping options are the cheapest possible option but there is NO TRACKING and NO INSURANCE. If your order is lost or damaged there is no chance for reimbursement or a search request.
- Expedited shipping options always include tracking and a certain level of insurance (USA origin shipments up to $100 and Germany origin shipments up to 500 €.)
ADDRESSES:
- You have the option to enter separate billing and shipping addresses. The billing address is only used for payment verification. I will always ship to the shipping address listed in your order on AkaTako.net - please put a note in the order comment if you have any concerns.
