RIGHT TO WITHDRAWAL
Residents of EU member countries have the right to withdraw from a purchase contract within 14 days without a reason. More general info.
How this applies with AkaTako:
- If your order has not yet shipped you will be refunded as soon as possible.
- If your order has already left AkaTako but not arrived to you please REFUSE the delivery so that the package is returned to sender. You will be refunded as soon as it comes back.
- If you received your order and it is under 14 days since the purchase date then I will provide the address that you can mail it back to. Please add insurance and tracking to the return shipment. Withdrawing from the contract means the items need to be back in AkaTako's hands to actually withdraw and get a refund or replacement. You are responsible for all shipping costs.
- You can also visit AkaTako's physical shop in Berlin, Germany, and just hand your items back within 14 days.
2-YEAR WARRANTY
Residents of EU member countries have the right to purchase goods that are free from defects and which match the description presented at the time of purchase. If an item is found to be faulty or defective within 2 years of purchase there is a right to repair or receive replacement. This is mostly aimed at consumer goods that are mechanical or electronic like if your hairdryer stops working within 2 years - it is defective! More general info.
How this applies with AkaTako:
- AkaTako doesn't really sell many things with moving parts. There is also nothing that should break with normal usage. Fragile things should be taken care of. Books should not be left in the sun or pressed open all the way which damages the binding.
- After you receive your order, if something completely breaks within 2 years of normal usage then you have the right to request a repair or replacement. Contact me and we will figure out a solution. I want you to be happy!
- DOES NOT cover shipping damage (that's what shipping insurance is for).
- DOES NOT cover minor wear and tear.
- DOES NOT cover "lightly used/damaged" condition notes that are written in the product description.
- DOES NOT cover accidental damage by unusual usage (bending covers backwards, using fragile items roughly, or using any items for unintended purposes, etc.).
