Last year's "Creation Project 2019" created beautiful cotton shantung furoshiki (traditional Japanese wrapping cloth) with the artwork of Japanese artists and the amazing expertise of a kimono maker founded in 1555(!). Each furoshiki is hand-dyed, one by one. Manufacturing is currently taking place and the furoshiki are expected to arrive to AkaTako around mid to end of March 2020.

Four vintage books of Japanese doll artists from the late 1980s/early 1990s have just been added. These are a smaller format book in lightly used condition. Two by Amano Katan and two by Ryoichi Yoshida.
